Pre-Standard Irish[edit]

Many Scottish Gaelic words are identical to the Irish in it's pre-Standardised from, eg. nuadh, ruadh, buidhe, Irish now: nua, rua, buí, oíche...They were written as such 50 years ago only, I've put (dh) on "nua" and "rua" just to show the link between the two...

I've changed it back. These words are linked to their Wiktionary entries, which follow the modern spelling. Angr 18:48, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
