  1. (government) Communauté urbaine de MontréalMUC – the supramunicipal level of government for the island of Montreal and several surrounding islands. It was formed in 1970, and in 2002 it was replaced by the CMM. It was reformed in 2006 as the Conseil d'agglomération de Montréal (Montreal Agglomeration Council)
