Gulf Arabic loanwords from Ottoman Turkish formed with the addition of an affix to conform the term to the normal morphology of Gulf Arabic.

To categorize a term into this category, use {{af|afb|type=adap|ota:source_term|-affix}} (or {{af|afb|type=abor|...}}, using the same syntax), where source_term is the Ottoman Turkish term that the term in question was borrowed from and affix is the Gulf Arabic affix used to adapt the Ottoman Turkish term. An example is Polish adresować (to address), which would use {{af|pl|type=adap|fr:adresser|-ować}} to indicate that is was formed from French adresser with the addition of the Polish verb-forming affix -ować.
