@Panda10: Although the vast majority of these nouns are diminutive forms (fagyi, csoki etc.), some are not, like these nouns, which either derive from adjectives (by conversion) or from ellipses of adjective-noun phrases: amerikai, anyagi(ak), ázsiai, bécsi, bernáthegyi, burgundi, ciszterci, debreceni, egri, ellenzéki, érettségi, értelmiségi, estélyi, európai, fegyelmi, felvételi, földalatti, gyulai, kínai, kocsi, különbözeti, miskolci, mucsai, munkanélküli, napközi, nápolyi, nappali, pálpusztai, párizsi, premontrei, reggeli, római, senkiházi, svájci, szegedi, tanári, tokaji, további(ak), vidéki, and zárthelyi. I wonder if we should move the existing entries to Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (diminutive) (this seems to be the only way to use the parameter "id" in {{affix}} for diminutive nouns, as it links to this category format) and then create another subcategory for the other type like these above. I don't know what could be an appropriate name for the latter, because Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (adjectival), … (adjective-forming), or … (adjective-derived) might look like a contradiction in terms (even if it's true). Possibly … (relational) or something in this vein? What could be the distinctive "id" for the suffix of these adjectives and nouns, which serves not only for the link within a page but also as a subcategory name element? @Adam78 Currently the only -i marked with a senseid AND having a category is the diminutive. For the others in your question, we could select any category name without using senseid and id. These two should not be connected to a senseid at the suffix -i since they have a different origin. They are not really suffixed with -i. But in case you still want to categorize them using the same pattern, how about Category:Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (by conversion) and Category:Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (from ellipses)? @Panda10 I don't mind leaving these other two types alone, but I'm afraid the diminutive sense of "-i" cannot be linked with a specific ID unless we rename the category to something like Category:Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (diminutive). This "id" strictly seems to link to this format. See the category given to fagyi, after I inserted this ID. It links to this category, a red link for the time being. Shall we create it and move the existing entries there? Or is there another way that you find more suitable? Adam78 (talk) 15:48, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Adam78 This is how senseid works. See Template:senseid/documentation#Use_with_affixes. I don't see any problems with Category:Hungarian nouns suffixed with -i (diminutive). Panda10 (talk) 17:52, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
