That's because the etymology in that entry doesn't mention the suffix, let alone use a template that would add it to that category. It's a bit tricky with place names that have been around longer than modern English- the suffix was apparently added when it was Old Norse, so there's a difference of opinion as to whether it's accurate to call it a modern English suffix. After all, it's not like someone added -by to "*Der" (whatever that is) in modern English. Chuck Entz (talk) 03:28, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
