Technically speaking there is no such thing as an English word with multiple etymologies. In such a situation, you have two or more separate words. Ass (buttocks) and ass (donkey), for example, are two separate words which just happen to be spelt and (usually) pronounced in the same way. --81.154.252.224 07:46, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)

May I suggest this be moved to Category:English homographs? --Connel MacKenzie 09:57, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
I second this. Ncik 21:37, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
