Not dictionary material. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:20, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Right: delete.—msh210 (talk) 20:40, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Its entries are dictionary material, therefore the category is dictionary material.
Nonetheless, it's virtually empty, with only 4 members. I'd say delete; its members can be found in Category:Plants and Category:Fictional characters. --Daniel 05:09, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
(not wholly relevant) Regarding the statement "Its entries are dictionary material, therefore the category is dictionary material", I think that's a very poor argument. Does that mean because we have United Kingdom we should allow Category:Countries with a female monarch born in 1926? In my opinion, no. Mglovesfun (talk) 16:05, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps your notion of "dictionary material" differs from mine, but our conclusions are the same. We want this category deleted, and I didn't give any reason to keep it. --Daniel 17:28, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Will this category be useful to readers? This is the only relevant question. I don't understand the rationale not dictionary material. Lmaltier 18:47, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Depends how you define useful and reader. Ability to buy credit for one's mobile phone is useful, and yet I don't think we should provide that service here. That's what I mean by 'dictionary material'. --Mglovesfun (talk) 10:49, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Category deleted by Mglovesfun, and thread closed by me. People basically just engaged in a little discussion about semantics, but the consensus here is clear: Nobody wants that category. --Daniel 12:20, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
