Towards to the Vainakh subgroup?[edit]

@Vahagn Petrosyan, Please, can I ask you to make a Vainakh subgroup with Proto-Vainakh language in the classification? Apparently, there is no such reconstruction in the dictionary, but in my opinion, this cannot prevent the inclusion of this subgroup. Still, it will be closer to the truth than what we have now. Thank you. Gnosandes (talk) 16:49, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Gnosandes: what's the difference between Vainakh and Nakh? The former does not include Batsbi? --Vahag (talk) 17:36, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Vahagn Petrosyan, In Vainakh subgroup is not part of the Bats language. The names "Vainakh" and "Proto-Vainakh" are used, for example, in the Global Lexicostatistical Database. See: Gnosandes (talk) 17:48, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gnosandes: I have created the family code cau-vay for Vainakh. It can be used in etymology sections, e.g "a {{bor|ka|cau-vay}} borrowing". I don't want to create the Proto-Vainakh language code because there are almost no sources offering Proto-Vainakh reconstructions. Why do you need it? --Vahag (talk) 07:37, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Vahagn Petrosyan, Thank you very much. I would have said that the sources for Proto-Vainakh at all. But for the sake of classification, it's good. Thank you again. Gnosandes (talk) 08:25, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
