Count Branicki's mouse

Etymology

Named for Hieronim Florian Radziwill Konstanty, Count Branicki, a Polish nobleman. The species is not a mouse, but is in the order Rodentia. The genus name Dinomys comes from Ancient Greek δεινός (deinós) + μῦς (mûs, terrible mouse).
