From the name of an area of woodland already in existence. Whether Hunt is a surname, or refers to a hunt (group of people hunting with horses and hounds) is unknown.

- A suburb and civil parish (created 2020) in Stroud district, Gloucestershire, England, just outside the City of Gloucester (OS grid ref SO8112).
