     On the third day, after covering some seventy li through the southern part of Shang-ch’eng, I arrived at Chin-chia-chai, which was a market town in Liu-an County of Anhwei Province, in the neighborhood of Shang-ch’eng, of Honan Province. The southern district of Shang-ch’eng and the Chin-chia-chai district of Liu-an were relatively old Soviet regions, which took Chin-chia-chai as their center.
