Proper noun[edit]

Malcom (plural Malcoms)

  1. A surname.
  2. Misspelling of Malcolm.

Usage notes[edit]

  • While Malcom is in itself a legitimate variant of Malcolm, it also occurs regularly as a misspelling of the name Malcolm (as in Malcom X instead of Malcolm X) owing to the -l- in Malcolm being silent.
