Module:unsupported titles/data/documentation

This is a list of unsupported titles, used by Module:unsupported titles and Template:unsupported. See also Appendix:Unsupported titles.

Usage:

• The key of m is the displayed page text. For example, : for colon;
• The value of m is a table, which can be empty. The contents of the table are names that can be used to link to the page. One of the values can have the key |pagename=, which is the actual page name.

Notes:

• The page name given by |pagename= has the first letter automatically capitalized. For Unsupported titles/Underscore, use |pagename=underscore.
• If no page name is given, the current displayed text is used as the page name. For Unsupported titles/n:o, don't use any page name. The module will not capitalize the first letter in this case, because it would generate an incorrect link to "Unsupported titles/N:o".
• You can use |display= to force a text that is going to be displayed by default. The Unsupported titles/Space entry uses it, to display   by default.

When adding new entries with unsupported titles, remember to also update MediaWiki:Gadget-UnsupportedTitles.json if necessary.
