ѡ (o)х (x), ѱ (ps)я (ja), (ja)ь (ĭ) etc.

[edit]

@Theknightwho sorry, but the "letter sorting" you suggested is bullshit. Just look what happened at the end of the list Category:Old Ruthenian lemmas, it's not good. If you want the sequence as in the complete Old Church Slavonic alphabet, then add these missing archaic Cyrillic letters to some common sorting list on Wiktionary, where each archaic letter will have its correct order. But why shove the non-corresponding letters into the section of completely different letters! Because: ѡ (o)х (x), ѱ (ps)я (ja), (ja)ь (ĭ) and so on, letters ѯ (ks)я (ja), ѳ (f)я (ja), ѵ (i)я (ja), ҁя (ja) ... 😞 -- ZomBear (talk) 00:09, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

That seems to be an error in the module, all the Greek letters should sort as separate, not under the preceding one. @Theknightwho could you fix this? Thadh (talk) 00:12, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Thadh @ZomBear It's an issue that's impossible to fix, and so we work around it. You cannot change the order of display letters for categories, so the only solution is to put letters at the "end" of the previous one. This is how it works for every other language, and we will not make an exception here. All you have to do is just ignore the head letters. Theknightwho (talk) 00:59, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
