Module talk:User:Benwing2/ru-verb
Latest comment: 8 years ago by Benwing2
@Benwing2 I will add another stupid 4a type verb (neologism) in need of a manual translit - зафре́ндить pf (zafrɛ́nditʹ, “to befriend (Internet)”). It's especially stupid because it doesn't have an established 1st person singular future tense. See ru:wiki.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 03:57, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Atitarev You mean it could be either зафре́нжу or зафре́нджу? This should be fixable with an override; if not, I'll add the ability to override an arbitrary part, which should be easy to do. Benwing2 (talk) 04:01, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- Interestingly, English speakers find it nearly impossible to say the sequence нж; it will usually come out ндж. Benwing2 (talk) 04:04, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, overrides are a problem with the current module. It can be even зафрендю, a less standard third form. For Russians, it's easier to skip [d] in pronunciations, even if writing with д. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 04:10, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- Polish Анджей comes out as Анжей, Анджелика as Анжелика but дж can, of course be also pronounced after н.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 04:15, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- Interesting. BTW I fixed the overrides; you can now override all parts. If you want, I'll add a third futr_1sg alternative. Benwing2 (talk) 05:47, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Benwing2 I don't seem to be able to add the alt forms, as in зафрендить. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:58, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Atitarev I think for the moment if you want to add present or future forms you need to use e.g.
pres_futr_1sg2=
. I'll fix the module shortly so it also acceptspres_1sg2=
andfutr_1sg2=
. Benwing2 (talk) 13:03, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
