Does this need to be a separate module?

@Theknightwho I think so (and have thought of that before), but this one has been created already and is in use. Having a sortation module separate from the language data also allows for testing and detection of errors.

For the other Philippine languages whose data need to be updated to automatically strip certain accents, and add sortation or scripts, we can do the sortation on the data itself. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 18:36, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

@TagaSanPedroAko Sure, but it's less efficient than doing it via substitution, and we're really stretched for resources at the moment. It's not a big deal, but generally it's best to do it the normal way if we can. Theknightwho (talk) 01:20, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
