More entries

[edit]

@Justinrleung, RcAlex36 Do you guys by any chance have any more entries to add? The dog2 (talk) 01:24, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@The dog2: Mainland publications don't usually include these kinds of terms, which is dumb in my opinion. RcAlex36 (talk) 01:33, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Ahh, that's a pity. But as someone from Hong Kong, maybe you can double check if the entries I added for Hong Kong are correct? Those I added are the ones I've heard from Hong Kong movies. The dog2 (talk) 03:16, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@The dog2: 自摸 happens when you play mahjong, not sure about the "to jerk off" sense. RcAlex36 (talk) 03:26, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: I heard 自摸 in the movie 雀聖2, though it was used as a pun in that case. The dog2 (talk) 03:28, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Found it on YouTube here: [1] (around 3:53). The dog2 (talk) 03:35, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung: Just didn't recall all those... RcAlex36 (talk) 06:27, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: By the way, "J" is transitive, meaning "to jerk off to". RcAlex36 (talk) 06:28, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Is it always? I don't have any intuition on this cuz no one's gonna talk to me about this lol... 粵典 gives "你一星期 J 幾多次?" as an example. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 06:37, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: An example sentence would be "你係咪成日J佢張相?" or "你係咪成日J嗰條女?" (sorry for the slight vulgarity lol). It also has a non-sexual meaning now, e.g. "成日J佢啲歌". RcAlex36 (talk) 06:51, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: I think it could be both transitive and intransitive. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 06:54, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Female terms

[edit]

@Justinrleung I think we should also add the female terms to this table, then add labels where appropriate. After all, some of these terms might also be unisex. What do you think? The dog2 (talk) 21:42, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@The dog2: I would prefer having a separate table for that. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 22:07, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: Where would you put a term like 自摸 then, which could in theory apply to both? The dog2 (talk) 22:12, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@The dog2: In both. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 23:07, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
