@The dog2, yes, but 貴 is the usual general term that is completely acceptable in formal writing. 昂貴 seems to emphasize the expensiveness a little more; Xiandai Hanyu Cidian and Xiandai Hanyu Guifan Cidian define it as 价格很高.
