@The dog2, I'm not sure if Hokkien 凊彩 and Teochew 亂 are "to do as one likes". 請你莫遐凊彩,愛較細膩淡薄 :) — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 18:53, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung: I guess Teochew 亂 has a broader definition. See [1] for its use in that sense. In Hokkien, I don't have a sample video, but we commonly use it in that sense. For instance, if you ask "你愛食什物?", and I'm not particular, I would answer "凊彩" or "凊彩會使". The dog2 (talk) 19:00, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@The dog2: Okay. I'm not sure if it's a verb though. We might be missing an adverbial sense in 隨便. There are some hits for 凊彩你 on Google, but I'm not sure if it means 隨便你. There's also 由在, 隨在 and 據在 to worry about. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 19:12, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: I've never used it as 凊彩汝. It's either just 凊彩 on its own or 凊彩會使. The dog2 (talk) 19:20, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@The dog2: That makes it less like a verb to me. @Mar vin kaiser, any thoughts? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 19:25, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: 凊彩 in Hokkien can be used as an adverb "凊彩食", and also as an adjective "較凊彩". I've never used it also like "凊彩汝". But for "由在, 隨在 and 據在", I can add a "汝" after them. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 10:00, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: In Cantonese you can also say 隨便食 or 隨便講, which makes it behave like an adverb. The dog2 (talk) 16:26, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
