@Justinrleung: She has mentioned in one of her videos (I can't remember which one) that she is from Wenchang. And her accent also sounds like Wenchang (which I have also confirmed with my Hainanese relatives). The dog2 (talk) 13:19, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

@Justinrleung: Most certainly. Wenchang is the ancestral homeland of my Hainanese relatives, and they have difficulty understanding the Sanya accent, to the point that they will usually just speak Mandarin when they go to Sanya. And the same goes for the Haikou accent, but to a slightly lesser extent. The Qionghai accent is the most similar to the Wenchang accent, so they can understand it with no major issues, but there are some characteristic differences that even I can easily pick out (eg. sleep in "hoi" in Wenchang, but "koi" in Qionghai). If you listen to the Malaysian YouTuber Namewee, his Hainanese is the Qionghai accent. The dog2 (talk) 00:02, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
