Usage notes[edit]

The River Meden forms the boundary between Pleasley in Derbyshire and Mansfield district in Nottinghamshire. The area of Pleasley Hill (shown as Pleasleyhill on OS maps) is east of the river in Nottinghamshire. The civil parish boundary conforms with the county boundary.
