Etymology
From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Arabic رَبِيع (rabīʕ, “spring”). A near homophone is Arabic رَابِعَة (rābiʕa), the feminine of رَابِع (rābiʕ, “fourth”), from أَرْبَعَة (ʔarbaʕa, “four”). Hence Rabia can also mean "the fourth female".
