Also reconstructed as *dāla- because there is a semantic distinction in Oghuz languages according to the beginning of the word.

Compared to Proto-Tungusic *dala- (to lap, swill), also Proto-Mongolic *dōlu-ğa (to lick). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
