Does this word really exist?

[edit]

@Mahagaja There is no entry in DIL for this word, and no mention of it in their entry for glas either. Yet all three daughter languages have something that could descend from such a hypothetical word by sound change. Is it worth a reconstruction? — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! I think so, yeah. The Historical Irish Corpas 1600–1926 finds forms as early as 1640, so I don't think it's an independent coinage in the three modern languages. —Mahāgaja · talk 06:49, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
