You would think so coming from PIE > PC, but from what I can tell within at least Insular Celtic it seems to be short. The regular ending of the first person singular indicative form was originally transplanted from verbs of this type > *-(n)ami > Welsh -af. Anglom (talk) 22:33, 22 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
