-ter: analogous to pa-ter, ma-ter, bhra-ter, dhuga-ter, likewise Slavic sestra. No change from T to TH, as beeing T preceded by consonant (as in Germanic *duhter).--Manfariel (talk) 13:48, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Regular sound change?[edit]
Considering -sr- > -str- is regular, I don't think analogy is necessary RubixLang (talk) 11:27, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
- That part is regular, but it wouldn't have happened in the nominative singular, where the regular outcome is *swesōr in Germanic. The fact that -tē- appears instead of -ō- is due to analogy. —Rua (mew) 18:04, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
