@Rua, am I correct in saying *ǵ isn't needed for Lithuanian yžià as it's already being palatalized by the following *y? --{{victar|talk}} 19:49, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

- @Rua: What I mean to say is, wouldn't have BSL palatalized *gy so that it would have the same outcome as *ǵy? --

- It actually looks like this word is related to Lithuanian aiža (“crack”) and Proto-Slavic *jazva (“wound, scar”), so not connected to this root. In light of that, I'm going to move this to *yeg-, which fits with the PII. --

Albanian “akull”[edit]
Is this where it belongs? It doesn’t seem to be anywhere and after I clicked on its germanic and hittite cognates I got sent here. If so which formation does it belong to? Rigers15 (talk) 23:01, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
