of Turkic origin?

I propose a new origin. This word may have borrowed from the Oghuric branch of Turkic languages. As I know there is no a Chuvash cognate. Here some Shaz compares: Tatar коңгыз (qoñgız) and Kazakh қоңыз (qoñyz). Also the If Chuvash people used that word, it would be something like хӑмӑр I think.
