Why ever allege such a form???[edit]

The only argument for ь instead of i is Czech non-present forms, but they can be easily explained as an irregular reduction of an unstressed high vowel (the higher the vowel, the more cross-linguistically likely it is to get reduced, regularly or not, because of its acoustic properties). 37.47.228.49 02:16, 1 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
