Based on COCA (US contemporary usage) "outshone" outshines "outshined" by 4:1, but there were 17 uses in that corpus of 385MM words, not negligible. I haven't looked at the senses for the two yet. DCDuring TALK 02:39, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
