Dutch skunna??

[edit]

The reference to a Dutch skunna seems mistaken. There is a Dutch word schoener, though, which means schooner and which is reported to originate from (American) English schooner [1] [2].

Can someone knowledgeable w.r.t. the etymology of Italian scuna confirm or deny that Dutch schoener is the origin of Italian scuna?Redav (talk) 15:06, 27 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
