We need to rewrite the etymology, which is absolutely wrong. If one searches Old Irish caile (“serving-girl, maid”), one finds it might be related to this Greek word. Not only cognates with Latin paelex (“concubine”) but also with Breton plac'h (“girl”), definitively an IE word, or at least, integrated in early an early PIE dialect that gave birth to Celtic, Latin, and Greek languanges! Both in Irish and Breton, caile and plac'h go without lenition (would it go in the sens of an early borrowing?) : an caile (not an chaile), ar plac'h (not ar blac'h). I don't know for the other languages but what is being said on the IE part makes no sense to me.
