@Atitarev This noun had gen and acc sg in -а, which doesn't conform to any normal pattern. I changed it to be more normal but this might be wrong; can you verify? Benwing2 (talk) 00:41, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

@Atitarev Actually, the gen and acc sg in -а are normal for neuter nouns. So either this noun is masculine and follows the declension as I changed it, or it's neuter and should be changed as such. Benwing2 (talk) 00:42, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

@Benwing2: I'l search more but "насельніцтва Сараева" (gen. sg.) and "Сараева быў" (masculine) suggest something is missing with our logic. I'll check with more common names but I think it's a masculine (based on горад (city, m.), used with masculine adjectives and verbs but is declined as a neuter. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 01:17, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

@Benwing2: Somewhat similar to the Russian Сараево, Шереметьево, Иваново, etc. where masc. or neuter can apply. Villages would be neuters but large cities, especially foreign tend to be masculine with no effect on declensions, i.e declined as neuters (if declined - villages are declined). --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 01:21, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
