hot spell[edit]

ummmm....hot spell = this? I really don't understand. Mallerd 20:20, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that’s right. A hot spell is a period of hot weather. Also a warm spell, a cold spell, a dry spell. In German, a spell means Weile, Weilchen, Frist, kurze Zeit. I would translate hot spell as Hitzewelle, French vague de chaleur. —Stephen 11:44, 1 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
