The thing that inside the bread. I have no idea how they say it in English or Hebrew.--Adamsa123 (talk) 10:34, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't think we have a word for it in English. It used to be called the "crumb", but I'm pretty sure that that sense of crumb is obsolete. (Nowadays "crumb" means something rather different.) But, at the very least, you can take the relevant definition from crumb, rather than having to write it yourself. :-)
I don't know of a Hebrew word for it, either, but that doesn't mean very much: my Hebrew vocabulary is not anywhere near as good as my English.

(I wrote about this once, in connection with French (deprecated template usage) mie. The comments are quite enlightening and mention several other languages. Ƿidsiþ 12:33, 25 September 2012 (UTC))Reply

I think Adamsa123 means "мякоть" (pulp, meat - the soft part of bread or fruit) or "сердцевина" (core, pith, heart). This is how the Adyghe (Kabardian) word seems to be translated into Russian, if it can serve as sort of a bridge into English. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 02:29, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
