The example of usage of this word in Old East Slavic provided contains the word "если". That word, as said in its respective page, "appeared in the 16th-17th centuries in Western Russian", which I believe to be correct. But Old East Slavic (Old Russian) is much older than that, and the distinction back then was very different from what it is in Great Russian colloquially today[1] (which is what we see here). Additionally, the sentence as a whole is also perfectly proper contemporary Great Russian, except in pre-reform orthography (1918), which just makes obvious what language it is really written in. --XRevan86 (talk) 19:26, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
