@Wikitiki89, Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wanjuscha About these пол– nouns, I have various questions:

  1. Does the пол- have secondary stress or not? So far, {{ru-IPA}} is adding secondary stress in пол-очка (pol-očka) because of the hyphen, but not полкилометра (polkilometra).
  2. Is it reasonable to say these nouns are all neuter? Zaliznyak claims the agreement can be either plural or neuter singular depending on semantic or syntactic factors that I'm not completely sure of. Some existing пол- nouns claim to be neuter, others claim to have the gender of the underlying noun in the second half. Also, some claim to be plural, others not; but it seems that these nouns can be declined in both singular and plural.
  3. The following usage note from ruwiki seems to explain the verbal agreement; can someone translate?
в норме разговорной речи первая часть пол не изменяется. Согласованные определения и прилагательные в составном сказуемом согласуются во множественном числе; при наличии согласованного определения глагольные формы согласуются во множественном числе, иначе — в единственном числе и среднем роде
