@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha Could you review the grammar of он це́лит в президе́нты? What is президе́нты? Logically it should be a nominative plural of президе́нт but I don't see how that fits after в. Or is it a different case of some other word? Benwing2 (talk) 09:08, 18 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't know what this is called grammatically but collocations or expressions of type "идти/пойти в рабочие" - to become a worker, "баллотироваться в президенты" - to run for president, "зачислиться в студенты" - to enrol as a student, etc. are quite common, meaning to join a group of, become one of, etc. The prepositional case is also possible - "быть в партизанах" - to be a guerrilla (to be in a group of guerrillas). --09:51, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
