@Vahagn Petrosyan: Compare also Zazaki çeqer (yellow). I my dialect چەقەرە (çeqere), چەکەرە (çekere) means "shoot (of germinating seed)" (probably because it is yellow-green).--Calak (talk) 17:27, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rabbits aren't yellow :) --Vahag (talk) 17:34, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see white and blue in the list!--Calak (talk) 17:43, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, rabbits are white. The "blue" sense must be a development of "grey". --Vahag (talk) 19:22, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I thought we are speaking about çakal! However I wrote çeqer for its phonosemantic formation (ČĠR)--Calak (talk) 19:28, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If this "phonosemantic" thing is real, Zazaki çeqer (yellow) could be mentioned, for example, at the entry for Ossetian зыгъа́р (zyǧár). Abaev has a long list of such formations. Here I have picked only those which come near to rabbitness. --Vahag (talk) 19:39, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
