@Pompyxmori, according to Acharyan, the Constantinople dialect has շօքօլաթ (šōkʻōlatʻ), չօքօլաթա (čʻōkʻōlatʻa), not շոքոլա (šokʻola). Are these forms obsolete in Standard Western Armenian and do you use շոքոլա (šokʻola) nowadays? --Vahag (talk) 06:21, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

@Vahagn PetrosyanThese forms are outdated. The problem with Adjarian as a reference is that it is typically outdated. As a result, it doesn't reflect contemporary usage in Western Armenian. One written reference is http://www.nayiri.com/search?l=hy_LB&dt=HY_HY&r=0&query=տուրմ. Also, there is evidence from Aztag (Beirut) and Jamanak (Istanbul). This is why I haven't been adding Western Armenian. If you are not a native speaker of a variety, relying on written sources is dangerous. The dated forms can still be added with an appropriate label. --Vahag (talk) 06:44, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
