@Vahagn Petrosyan: No, I think that NK berîk, bêrîk, bêrik is from earlier *berik < *bere/o/ûk, cognate with CK berok "1) грудь, грудна́я кле́тка 2) пере́дник; нагру́дник 3) пере́дний карма́н 4) воротни́к 5) оше́йник 6) ла́цкан" from ber, probably cognate with MP war, NP bar "breast" or Kurdish ber "front" (MP abar "higher, superior").--Calak (talk) 08:46, 15 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
