@Vahagn Petrosyan: The only coal-word I've heard of is ածուխ. I can't find this word or քոմուր on the main Nayiri dictionaries. If I had to guess, I would mark [kʰœˈmuɾ] as a non-standard colloquial way of saying a more nativized word like [kjomur] or [komur]. It's like how boereg is [bœreg] for people who can do round midvowels (and who may or may not know Turkish), while the more nativized way is to say [b(j)oreg] (the way I do it) Hovsepig (talk) 09:39, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

@Vahagn Petrosyan: I would say its dialectal, not standard Western Armenian. It's the equivalent of ածուխ currently only used in the Constantinople Dialect. (Personally, I use it interchangeably). See քէօմիւր in Adjarian's 1902 Dictionary on Turkish Loan Words (http://www.nayiri.com/imagedDictionaryBrowser.jsp?dictionaryId=62&dt=HY_HY&pageNumber=370). As for the pronunciation of the phoneme [œ], some speakers use it, others don't. For all speakers who actually use this word (Istanbul-Armenian dialect), the phoneme [œ] is present. Pompyxmori (talk) 00:04, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

I know that [œ] exists in the Constantinopolitan dialect. The question is whether it exists in Standard Western Armenian. I guess that depends on how we define Standard Western Armenian. Sakapetoyan transcribes Էօժենի as [ɛɔʒɛˈni], not [œʒɛˈni]. --Vahag (talk) 06:36, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
