מדוע, בניגוד לכל שאר במילים אשר בהם כן קיימת התייחסות לשורש (או למקור) השמי בשפות שמיות אחרות (בעיקר, ה"תאומות" לעברית: השפה הארמית והשפה הערבית)- אין בערך זה, בכאן, התייחסות למילה הערבית הקשורה: ג'אנה=גן-עדן (جنة)?

The Arabic isn't directly related- it's a borrowing from Aramaic.
Just as a photobomber can't stand to see a photograph that they're not in, you seem to have trouble allowing etymologies to exist that don't have your favorite language in them. So far, I've seen you claiming that the name of a South American and Caribbean plant didn't come from the languages of the people who grew them centuries before they were "discovered", and that part of Indo-European inherited basic vocabulary had to have come from a language that didn't even exist at the time of the first attestations.
On top of that, you insist on posting questions about entries at English Wiktionary in Hebrew. I wouldn't think about going to Arabic Wiktionary and posting questions in Chinese- why are you using Hebrew here? Chuck Entz (talk) 04:59, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
