- I tend to assume that you are right that it is a misspelling, as do machines that upcorrect this spelling, but it is an expected regularization after the measure yaKLīM. One finds the form اليسمين thus since the Middle Ages, hence in this Andalusi plant name glossary which lists the authors but does not break down the variants after authors and loci, again Corriente, Federico, Pereira, Christophe, Vicente, Angeles, editors (2017), Dictionnaire du faisceau dialectal arabe andalou. Perspectives phraséologiques et étymologiques (in French), Berlin: De Gruyter, →ISBN, page 1371—even يِسْمِين (yismīn) after the Vocabulista in arabico, and indeed p. 216 we have the singulative يِسْمِينَة (yismīna), deemed an “alteration” by Dozy, Reinhart Pieter Anne (1881) “يِسْمِينَة”, in Supplément aux dictionnaires arabes[1] (in French), volume 2, Leiden: E. J. Brill, page 853a; although their yasmin barrī UT № 2369 is inaccurately cited and the ʿumda has يَاسَمِين بَرِّيّ (yāsamīn barriyy) there and on all other occurrences; also they claim يَسْمِين (yasmīn) to be present in the Dīwān of Ibn Quzman, which suggests it was used with metrical reason, but all poetry on aldiwan.net consistently uses يَاسَمِين (yāsamīn). Still it probably is a dialect form, not even misspelling but misspeaking, as one sees by searching اليسمين on the web, just too often for it to be deleted, hence it is in the Wehrs as one reads it.
