Right word?[edit]

Hey @Antonklroberts are we sure this is the right form of the word? I think this word is being mistaken with ܬܸܫܪܝܼܢ judging by how you listed it being pronounced in Urmia, cheri, which is exactly how we pronounce it in Nineveh plains and similar to how it was pronounced in classical Syriac, tishrī(n). The plural we use is cheriwatha and I expect cheriwate in Urmian, but I don’t see how this word, tishriye fits in all of this, especially since it didnt exist in classical Syriac. I would suggest we rename this entry to ܬܫܪܝܘ̈ܬܐ and list that as the plural of ܬܫܪܝܢ, agreeing with both our dialects and with classical syriac too Shuraya (talk) 07:14, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes i agree with this and my dictionaries also agree with this too. I'll fix it up and rename the page to ܬܫܪܝܘܬܐ instead. Antonklroberts (talk) 14:44, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
