@DerekWinters Thanks for the explanation, I just found a paper that talked about Old Western Rajasthani and was wondering what it is. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 18:12, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@AryamanA: Yup, Old Gujarati is more common in the literature so I chose that name, but Old Western Rajasthani is equivalent. In fact, could you make that an alternative name of Old Gujarati on its language page? I don't think I have the rights. DerekWinters (talk) 18:13, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, amazing. DerekWinters (talk) 18:13, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@AryamanA Can you post the paper about about Old Western Rajasthani for me? And any other papers that deal with Old Gujarati? DerekWinters (talk) 18:24, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@DerekWinters: It wasn't a paper about it, it was a paper on Marwari grammar (more like a report actually, an official one from the Indian government) that mentions "Old Western Rajasthani" as the ancestor of Marwari and Gujarati. Here it is, at the bottom of the first page.
Yeah, lol, I already added the alternative name. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 21:19, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
