Taxonomic name
[edit]The white-throated babbler is Turdoides gularis. Is that the same as the small white-throated babbler? Apparently there is only one species now in genus Dumetia, namely Dumetia hyperythra, the tawny-bellied babbler. Turdoides and Dumetia are in different families.
