@Kutchkutch, do you know of any sources on Sholaga? I cant find any books, wikipedia doesnt have much and these Sholaga terms arent mentioned in DEDR (aṉṟi, akka) either, these terms were added by an IP who is inactive for 4 years AleksiB 1945 (talk) 09:28, 3 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@AleksiB 1945 This word is listed on page 419 column 1 in the article The Language of the Shōlegas by Kamil Zvelebil.
anḏi n. pig. DEDR 4039 Ta. panri, Ka. pandi
Perhaps the is an allophone for after n similar to Tamil /r/ → [d] / n_
Although there also exists a in Sholaga, according to page 436, Sholaga (along with ) is derived from Proto-Dravidian * rather than Proto-Dravidian *. For ಅಕ್ಕಁ, if representing the nasalisation as is accurate, then that could be added to MOD:sle-translit. Kutchkutch (talk) 01:25, 4 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
