@GoateeBoi Are you sure it means "Saturday"? As far as I know, śani in any Indian language should mean "Saturn". Even Gundert's Malayalam dictionary gives the meaning as Saturn and has ശനിയാഴ്ച (śaniyāḻca) for Saturday. -- Bhagadatta^(talk) 04:08, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

@BhagadattaYou're right in a sense. To the best of my knowledge, speakers of Malayalam always add "azcha" to day names to be unambigous, but when I see Malayalam calendars, like [this one],

the day labels don't have "-azcha".

For good measure, I included both short and long names in [Category]

I know some phrases use the short version. For example, Malayalee Christians call the "Good Friday" holy day as "ദുഃഖ വെള്ളി", they never call it "ദുഃഖ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച". (If you didn't know, Good Friday celebrates the crucifixion of Christ, which was a gruesome event with a good result)
