@Solarkoid, թաթման (tʻatʻman) is not attested in Middle Armenian. What's the earliest attestation of the Georgian? --Vahag (talk) 14:06, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Vahagn Petrosyan ok so it's not attested in Old Georgian (pre 11th c.). As for Middle Georgian, the word seems to be only attested in Sulkhan Saba's Middle Georgian dictionary (tried searching on GNC but couldn't find it but neither is ხელთათმანი according to it...), which was written before 1717. He lists them under ქურო (page 376), but the curious thing is, he doesn't say "Of another language" or "Non-Georgian", which should kinda mean it was used even before him writing that. That's all I have. But as for the term, I'll rename it to late Middle Georgian and add reference to Sulkhan Saba. -Solarkoid (talk) 14:30, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Modern Armenian starts from 1600, so the Georgian can be borrowed from hy, not axm. --Vahag (talk) 13:25, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oh bruh! I looked it up on Wikipedia and it said 18th century, that's why I wrote Middle Armenian. Sorry and thank you for telling me that! -Solarkoid (talk) 15:21, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
